As I was born and raised in Gibraltar, the runway was always in close proximity. I remember cycling to the runway and watching the planes land and take-off, which made me question how these things fly! I grew up wanting to learn how to fly planes and was lucky to combine my Aerospace Engineering degree with my flight training at The University of Sheffield.
I pursed both my degree and flight training in parallel which was challenging but worth the effort!
